Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 2025
Harbour Roam Dublin respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, how we store it and what rights you have regarding that information.
Data Minimisation
We collect only the information needed to understand and respond to your itinerary-planning request. This typically includes your name, email address, optional phone number, travel dates, group composition, stated interests and any accessibility notes you choose to share. We do not ask for passport numbers, payment card details, dates of birth or any government-issued identity-document information.
Purpose of Collection
The personal information you provide is used for one purpose: to review your service request and follow up with relevant itinerary-planning guidance. We may also use your email address to send a brief follow-up message after your trip to ask whether the itinerary was helpful, but only if you have indicated that you are happy to receive such a message.
Data Retention
We retain your personal information for no longer than 12 months after our last communication with you. If a service request does not proceed to an active planning engagement, we delete the associated personal data within 90 days of our final correspondence. Itinerary documents we create for you are retained for up to 12 months so that we can re-send them if you lose your copy; after that period they are deleted.
No Sale of Personal Data
We do not sell, rent, trade or otherwise disclose your personal information to third parties for marketing or commercial purposes. We do not share your data with advertisers, data brokers or affiliate networks. If we ever need to share limited information with a service provider who assists with our operations (for example, an email-delivery service), we will ensure that provider is contractually bound to use the data only for the specific task and to delete it afterwards.
Cookies and Local Storage
Our website does not set advertising or tracking cookies. If we use any cookies or browser local storage, it is limited to functional purposes such as remembering a form state so you do not lose your input if you navigate away accidentally. You can disable cookies in your browser settings without affecting your ability to read our site content or contact us by email or phone.
Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you and receive a copy in a common format
- Correct any inaccurate or incomplete information
- Request deletion of your personal data at any time — we will comply promptly unless we have a legal obligation to retain specific records
- Withdraw consent for any optional communications
